زَمْزَمَةٌ ذ [inf. n. of R. Q. 1 (q. v. passim); and also used as a simple subst., of which the pl. is زَمَازِمُ]. You say رَعْدٌ ذُو زَمَازِمَ and هَدَاهِدَ [Thunder having confused and continued, or murmuring, sounds, heard from a distance]. (TA.) And زَمَازِمُ النَّارِ The sounds of the blazing of fire. (TA.)
