Fires.

Buffalo, Dec. 17.
--The tavern connected with the extensive cattle yard of Burrus & Dickey, was entirely destroyed by fire on Saturday night. All the inmates escaped but two, Phineas Dickey, a son of one of the proprietors and Jane Burrus, a servant. Miss Ellen Dickey threw herself from a second story window, severely injuring her spine.--There were more or less injured in escaping and all suffered intensely from the cold, being obliged to remain unsheltered in thin night clothes. Loss on building and furniture about $6,000; insured for $3,000.

Cincinnati, Dec. 17.--The building 42 Main street, occupied by Mr. Weller as a clothing store, was burned yesterday afternoon. Loss $6,000; insured. Bowen & Deming's, confectioners, loss $2,000; insured.
