The Cowhiding affair.

--John B. Hill, having been acquitted of the charge of stabbing Aaron Haskine, was retained as a witness against the parties who made the assault upon him; and on yesterday, George Abbott and John Perkins were arraigned before the Recorder to answer. The assault was made by Haskins, who is still unable to attend Court, and the other parties were in his company at the time. There was nothing in the evidence which specially implicated Perkins, and he was discharged from custody; but Abbott was held to bail in the sum of $200 to keep the peace.
