--The sombre clouds that have hovered over the city for several days past, distilling their watery exhalations to the horror of the inhabitants, were all chased away yesterday by a ‘"sweet South wind."’ The mud was made incontinently to "dry up," and everything wore a pleasant aspect. It was a real May day. The grass on the Capitol Square looked as green as some of the people are who imagine Richmond will be "taken" next week.
