Adverse decision.

--The Court of Appeals on Saturday decided the case of Jno. A. Worsham vs. Joseph Mayo, It came up on an appeal from the decision of the Circuit Court, Judge Meredith, affirming the Mayor's decision confiscating $543 to the use of certain police officers who seized the same, on the ground that it had been staked on a gaming table, in the house of Worsham, to allow people to bet at a game called faro. The Mayor's decision was re-affirmed by the Court of Appeals.
