[1007] σὺν … κελεύθῳ: adveniente Aeete (Beck); a strange expression. The meaning may be 'joining their forces with the expedition which A. would lead thither'; for κέλευθος 'expedition' cf. Aesch. Ag. 126, ἀγρεῖ Πριάμου πόλιν ἅδε κέλευθος. This is Seaton's view.
