--James M. D. Irvine and R. J. Forbes, charged with forging an order on the Paymaster for the commutation of rations, with the design of defrauding the C. S. Government of money, were examined before a Court of Justices and remanded for trial before Judge Lyons. The Court not being entirely satisfied that a forgery had been perpetrated, admitted the parties to ball in $1,000 each.
