--An old man named William Hyde, was before the Mayor yesterday for keeping a disorderly house on 3d street, where paupers constantly resorted to imbibe the poisonous contents of a whiskey barrel.--His ingratitude for former acts of benevolence was fully manifested by his endeavor to justify himself by making it appear that a certain ‘"mystic brotherhood"’ countenanced his proceedings; but it was no go. Hyde was hidden within the walls of the jail, in default of security to keep the peace.
