Sad accident.

--A Mr. Walker, an employ of the city, had the misfortune yesterday to have one of his hands mashed off, while engaged in packing an engine at the Pump House. He was an industrious and worthy man, and the loss to him is irreparable, depending, as he did, on his labor for a living.
