Drowned.

--The body of a white female was found in the canal, near Myer's bridge, yesterday morning, and identified as Leah Jones, who has been leading a vagrant kind of life for some time past. We are informed that she fell into the water during the night previous, being intoxicated at the time. Her husband, an Englishman, was killed by an explosion at the coal pits a few years ago, and her personal misfortunes will, at least in the eye of Christian charity, excuse some of her personal faults.
