Perrein, Jean -1805

Naturalist; born near Month de Marsan, France, in 1750; visited North America in 1794, and travelled in the Rocky Mountains, in all the New England States, and in Quebec, Ontario, and other parts of British America. He was the author of a valuable work entitled Travel among the Indians of North America, with a sketch of the customs and character of the people. He died in New York in October, 1805.
