--A gentleman showed to us on Saturday a cheek for twenty-five cents, which was printed from an engraved plate and circulated as money during the shin-plaster are of 1637, and which was a few days since paid to him as a current note, by some person, While shin-plasters are so abundant, people cannot be too guarded in receiving them.
