Col. R. A. Stewart, the fighting parson, in the field

--We understand that Col. Stewart is now raising a Flying Artillery company, to be called the Beauregard Battery.--It will be a crack company, our informant says, and the parson will fight sure. We hope Col. Stewart, who has the guns of his command, will receive every other assistance he may require to fit his company out for the field of war as soon as possible. We recommend him as a bold, fearless and capable officer, and one who has been under fire.--N. O. Delta.
