Calvin

--The 200th anniversary of the death of Calvin is to be celebrated at Geneva. A conflict, it appears, is on the point of breaking out on this subject between the Consistory and the venerable body of Protestant clergymen. The former opposes the fate, and the inter support it. The Consistory has, it is said, refused the use of the chapels of the National Church for the celebration.--Calvin died May 27, 1564.
