Apoll. 9. “ἤαρος” may be a genuine form (i.e. a correct transcription of a prae-Euclidean E), or it may be a confusion with “ἦρος, ἠρινός”. Homer only uses “ἔαρος, Ζ 148, τ” 518 (but see Agar in J.
