[98] χρυσέοισι Νέφεσσιν: here and in Il. 13.523 La Roche (Homer. Unters. i. p. 57, 83) would read “χρυσέοις νεφέεσσιν”, as “νέφος” and “νεφέλη” generally make position in Homer. So in h. Aphr. 67 “μετὰ νεφέεσσι”. But there are exceptions to the rule; cf. Il. 17.243 and 372.
