 And that the temple be the common property of both sections, and be under the superintendence of the Heralds and the Eumolpidae1 according to the ancestral practice. But that it be not lawful for those at Eleusis to go into the city, nor for those in the city to go to Eleusis, except in either case at a celebration of the Mysteries. And that they contribute from their revenues like the other Athenians to the fund for the common defence.
