LA COCOSA Badajoz, Spain.

A Roman villa 16 km S of Badajoz has been excavated, dating from the 4th c. A.D. but modified during the Christian era. Pottery from the 1st and 2d c. and coins from Agrippa to Arcadius have also been found. The original building consists of a large peristyle, a number of rooms, three of which had mosaic pavements, and baths. The finds are in the Badajoz Archaeological Museum.
