Hospital for Invalid soldiers.

At the beautifully situated village of Mount Jackson, Shenandoah county, 86 miles from Manassas Junction, a hospital has been established for sick and wounded soldiers. A few days since 160 invalids were receiving kind treatment there, and buildings are preparing for the reception of 500 more, should necessity require. The ladies have taken the sufferers under their special care, and have organized a society to furnish convalescents with such articles as they may need on their return to duty. Mrs. Dr. A. R. Meem, wife of the Medical Director of the hospital, is President. A considerable sum of money has been subscribed by the wealthy residents of the vicinity.
