ARIASSOS Turkey.

In Pisidia near Yürükbademlisi, 3 km SW of Dağ Nahiyesi. The city is listed by Ptolemy, Hierokles, and the Notitiae, but is unknown to history. The site is proved by an inscription found on the spot (IGR III, 422). It is on two hills of no great height, approached from the N by a road spanned by a triple-arched gateway of the familiar form, handsome and well preserved. The W hill carries a ring wall preserved in part, and on both hills are numerous built tombs, some still in good condition. One or two other buildings in good masonry stand to a fair height but are not identifiable.
