Nashville Jan. 20.

--The city continues full of rumors in relation to Federal movements against Forts Henry and Donelson, but there is nothing reliably known, more than has been already communicated.

Capt. Wharton has been elected Colonel of the Texas Rangers. In accepting the position he reiterated the expression that Col. Terry's death must be avenged, before leaving Kentucky.
