Pol. vii. 17 (= 1336^{a} 5) ἐκ τοῦ γὰρ εὐχερῶς λέγειν ὁτιοῦν τῶν αἰσχρῶν γίνεται καὶ τὸ ποιεῖν σύνεγγυς. ἐπιτέλει. ὧν κτἑ: hiatus is allowed here, because the new sentence begins a fresh maxim and a pause is necessary before it. τοῖς αὑτοῦ παισίν: see note on § 14 αὑτοῦ.
