Burglary — On Sunday afternoon, Mr. Wm. H. Ciny, book-keeper at the drug store of Dove & Co., found a youth named Joseph Kelcher, in the office of the establishment, apparently endeavoring to find a way to open the Iron safe. The boy left in a hurry, but was soon captured in the rear yard by two gentlemen who were in the store, when it was found that he had forced his way into the premises by breaking through the window of an out-house, and had stolen $5.20 and a lot of postage stamps from a drawer in the office.--He had provided himself with a hatchet and chisel to facilitate his operations, which were cut short by a timely discovery. The Mayor remanded him for examination before the Hustings Court.
