Arrest of a mail robber.

--For some time past there has been much complaint of the irregularity of the mail between Memphis and Oxford, Miss. The matter has not escaped the attention of the Post-Office Department; and we are now gratified to be able to state that the depredator has been arrested. D. B Blair, special agent of the Post-Office Department, succeeded on the 8th inst., in detecting Charles Ely, stage driver between Oxford and Pontotoc, Miss., as the mail robber. He found the stolen money in his pocket, together with an iron mail key.--He has been lodged in jail--Memphis Avalanche, 11th inst.
