Rascality.

--A man representing himself to be a soldier, and who gave his name as B. P. French, and as belonging to the 24th Virginia regiment, went to the house of a citizen on Church Hill late Monday evening, and was so importunate in his request to be taken in for a few days that it was granted, and he remained until Wednesday morning, when he went out before the family were up, taking with him a Lieutenant's coat and pants which had been left there by some soldiers who are in the army below Richmond.
