GASTIAIN Navarra, Spain.

Village in the municipality of Valle de Lana on the border of the province of Alava. It was apparently a Roman vicus. A later sanctuary dedicated to San Sebastian incorporated many funerary inscriptions, which provide data on primitive naming systems (CIL II, 2950-57). The sanctuary has recently been demolished and the inscriptions have been moved to the Museo de Navarra in Pamplona.
