Sons of Veterans.
The ropes attached to the second wagon in the line were manned nominally by the Sons of Veterans, with First-Lieutenant W. Deane Courtney in Command. There were also a number of Richmond College students in this division, and young men generally. About five hundred small boys gave their services and completed the detail.
