Curculio

“The Guzzler”; a comedy of Plautus with a slender plot, and written to ridicule the ways of parasites. It was composed later than B.C. 193. It is noticeable as having a sort of parabasis (q.v.) in the fourth act (sc. i.). An edition in Latin and German is that of Geppert (Berlin, 1845).
