خَارِقٌ خارق [act. part. n. of خَرَقَ]. ― -b2- [And hence,] سَيْفٌ خَارِقٌ A sharp, or cutting, sword: pl. خُرُقٌ. (TA.) ― -b3- [Hence also,] أَمْرٌ خَارِقٌ لِلْعَادَةِ (assumed tropical:) [An event breaking through, or infringing, the usual course of nature]. (KT, in a definition of مُعْجِزَةٌ, q. v.) ― -b4- [In the present day, خَارِقٌ signifies also (assumed tropical:) Profound, or penetrating, in learning or science.]
