2 خوّص الشَّجَرُ ذ , inf. n. تَخْوِيصٌ, said of palmtrees, [and some others, see خُوصٌ,] The trees put forth leaves, [or only leaves of the kinds called خُوصِ,] little by little. (L, TA.)
