Disturbing religious worship.

--A young man named Ellis Redford, was arraigned before the Mayor to answer the charge of disturbing the congregation worshipping at Clay street Church, on Sunday night last, by cursing and swearing in the vestibule, in a loud voice. The law authorizes the punishment of disturbers of religious worship by confinement in the jail, and by fine not exceeding $100. After a hearing, the accused was held to bail to answer an indictment by the next Grand Jury, and was also required to give security for his good behavior for the next twelve months.
