The wheat crop.

--A letter dated Stewart county, Ga., May 11th, says:

‘ "We commenced cutting wheat to-day.--Wheat in this county was never better, and there is an abundance sown. Look out for cake a plenty soon."

’ Another, dated Walker county, same State, says:

‘ "I have been in this part of the country from its earliest settlement, and speak from observation when I say that the prospect for a good wheat crop, both in quantity and appearance, has never been better — I think hardly so good as at present. Should we escape rust and other mishaps the crop must be abundant."
