Wm. McAllister, Esq., Treasurer, Richmond, Va. Sir:
Your letter of the 19th instant, enclosing Sixty Dollars, amount of donation from Union Station Methodist Church to the Treasury of the Confederate States, has been received. The Department takes great pleasure in expressing its high appreciation of the patriotism and generosity which prompted this donation.
