The Mormons.

--A party of one thousand Mormons came up from the East on Friday, and passed on to Toledo, on route for Salt Lake City. These recruits for the Mormon settlements were picked up in this country exclusively — most of them being gathered in the cities of New York, Philadelphia, and Boston. A very large proportion of these are young girls and small children. They are under the charge of Mr. McAllister, the general Eastern agent of the Mormons.--Cleveland Her old.
