Gordonsville, Va. June 21.
--An engagement took place at 9 o'clock on the morning of the 19th inst., between two companies of the Third Tennessee Regiment and two companies of the Thirteenth Virginia Regiment, under Colonel Vaughan, of the Tennessee Volunteers, and about two hundred and fifty of the enemy, at New Creek Depot, eighteen miles west of Cumberland, on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. The enemy fired a few random shots, then broke and fled. One man was wounded on our side. The enemy's loss is not accurately known, but several were killed.

Our troops captured two guns and a stand of colors.
