The officer, after arriving at the place, instituted a search, and found the following articles, which were brought to the city, viz: One hundred pounds of leaden bullets, divested of the powder; sixteen blankets, seven overcoats, two double-barrel shot guns, (claimed by the owner of the place,) one sabre, one musket, twenty suits of under clothes, one trunk, six knapsacks, one tent four tent flies, and seven pairs of army shoes. The party having the articles in possession was paroled to appear to-day and furnish an explanation as to how he got them.
