for being drunk in the street.
Fifteen negroes for being in an unlawful assembly in an alley between Main and Franklin streets. The slaves were whipped, and Wm. Ross
and Tom Logan
(free) were sent to Court.--Jas. Webber
was locked up for stealing sundry articles of wearing apparel
from Jas. McAvoy
, and a Catholic Bible, the whole valued at $50. Wm. Johnson
, a free negro, was caged for threatening to shoot Barnet Scott
a fellow darkey.
