[330] ξυνειδὼς because ἐκφήνω implied that he knew. Cp. 704 αὐτὸς ξυνειδώς, ἢ μαθὼν ἄλλου πάρα; i.e. of his own knowledge, or on hearsay? Not, “being an accomplice” （as Soph. Ant. 266 “ξυνειδέναι ι τὸ πρᾶγμα βουλεύσαντι”）: Oed. can still control his rising anger.
