[330] ξυνειδὼς because ἐκφήνω implied that he knew. Cp. 704 αὐτὸς ξυνειδώς, μαθὼν ἄλλου πάρα; i.e. of his own knowledge, or on hearsay? Not, “being an accomplice” (as Soph. Ant. 266ξυνειδέναι τὸ πρᾶγμα βουλεύσαντι”): Oed. can still control his rising anger.
