[366] σὺν τοῖς φιλτάτοις κ.τ.λ. = σὺν τῇ φιλτάτῃ (Iocasta): since ὁμιλοῦντ᾽ implies wedlock, and not merely the companionship denoted by ξυνών in 457: for the allusive plural, cp. Soph. Trach. 335οὕστινας” (meaning Iole): Soph. El. 652φίλοισι” (Aegisthus).
