[579] γῆς with ἄρχεις: ἴσον νέμων explains ταὐτά,— “with equal sway” （cp. 201 κράτη νέμων, and 237）: γῆς ἴσον νέμων would mean, “assigning an equal share of land.” The special sense of νέμων is sufficiently indicated by the context; cp. Pind. P. 3.70 “ὃς Συρακόσσαισι νέμει βασιλεύς” （rules at S.）.
