Mr. Editor: In your paper of the 1st instant is inserted a copy of a letter to a mercantile house in our city, from A. C. & A. B. Beech, of Nashville, promising to make an effort to pay their Eastern indebtedness when the war is over and the smoke of battle clears away; until then, nothing can be done!
