Flag raised.

--On Monday last a number of the citizens of Wytheville, Va., erected a pole some 80 feet high, and unfurled from the top of it the flag of the Southern Confederacy.--On one side the flag has a mammoth rattle-snake in full coil, ready to strike, over which are the words, "Don't Tread on Me." On the reverse side is the Virginia coat-of-arms, surrounded by 15 stars, and under it, in large gilt letters, the words"Southern Confederacy." In the upper left corner of the same side there is a Palmetto tree, and one star, painted white on a blue ground.
