Suicide of a school Teacher.

--Miss Mary Butler, an amiable, intelligent and much esteemed young lady, 23 years of age, committed suicide on Sunday evening last, by taking corrasive sublimate, at Williamstown, Mass., where she had been teaching school. She acknowledged the act within a very few minutes after she had taken the deadly potion, but assigned no reason, except that she had lived long enough, and wished to die. She survived but a very short time, and wondered why the friends around her should feel so bad while she felt happy.
