A publishing House.

In reply to correspondent who makes inquiries touching a publishing house for the South, we can say that the principal book sellers of this place have all done something of book publishing in a limited way. We do not, however, know of any strictly publishing house at this time. The want will no doubt soon be supplied, and after the war we shall be publishing better books than the North have heretofore given us, in a style certainly as good as theirs. Our correspondent could no doubt have his Southern school book printed by some one of the book houses of this city if they approve it.
