Flag of North Carolina.

--The flag agreed upon for the State of North Carolina is said to be very handsome. The colors are a red field, with a single star in the centre. On the upper extreme is the inscription, "May 20, 1775," and at the lower, "May 20, 1861."--There are two bars, one of blue and the other of white.
