شَنِيقٌ ذ One whose origin is suspected; syn. دَعِىٌّ: a poet says, “ أَنَا الدَّاخِلُ البَابَ الَّذِى لَا يَرُومُهُ
دَنِىْءٌ وَلَا يُدْعَى إِِلَيْهِ شَنِيقُ
