An appeciation.
In the organization of the Society for 1918 the reader will miss the name of
Eliza M. Gill, who has faithfully served for several years as
Secretary.
Because of impaired health, she is obliged to give up her willing service, but not her interest.
One of the original corporators, she has ever been in labors abundant, both as an officer and interested active member, keeping in touch with historic interests elsewhere, as well as in
Medford.
The papers she has read before the Society show careful study of her subjects, and are supplemented by other articles in the Register, and not a little of material has been furnished by her to aid other writers.
To the Register she has ever been devoted, and its editor acknowledges her many favors and assistance.
We are hoping for her rest and recovery ere long.
