أَكْلَةٌ ذ A single act of eating (S, Mgh, Msb, K) until one is satisfied. (S.) Hence the saying, المُعْتَادُ أَكْلَتَانِ الغَدَآءُ وَالعَشَآءُ, meaning That to which people are accustomed is two acts of eating, the eating of the morning-meal and that of the evening-meal.
