أَنُوفٌ ذ A man very disdainful, scornful, or indignant; very disdainfully and proudly incompliant or refusing; (M;) who disdains, or scorns, exceedingly, to do ignoble deeds: (Har p. 312:) pl. أُنُفٌ.
