δύσθεον=“ἄθεον, ἀσεβές”: properly, ‘having untoward gods,’ as “δυσδαίμων”= ‘having evil fortune.’ The only other examples of “δύσθεος” are Suppl. 421, Ag. 1590, Ch. 46, Ch. 191, Ch. 525.

μίσημα, like “στύγημα, δούλευμα”, etc. ( Ant. 320 n.). Cp. Ph. 991 μῖσος.

σοὶ μόνῃ: cp. 153 n.

τέθνηκεν, euphemistic for “ἀνῃρέθη” (schol.).

ἐν πένθει, as 847 “τὸν ἐν πένθει”: Plat. Rep. 605Dἐν πένθει ὄντα”.
